We no longer maintain an organic certification but our orchard practices have not changed in 30 years. Our chestnuts are grown without the use of synthetic chemicals such as fertilisers, herbicides, pesticides and fungicides. Our chestnut grove is managed harmoniously with the natural environment.

Throughout the grove, we strive to improve the soil organic matter and tree health using natural and ‘home grown’ sustainable inputs.

Our approach is very hands on. We weed under the trees, then return the composted chestnut burrs and leaves back to the orchard as nature intended.
